The wee House of Poetry opened on August 25th, 2023,

New Zealand's Phantom Billstickers National Poetry Day.

Readers were David Eggleton, Jenny Powell,

David Kārena-Holmes, and Lola Elvy,

introduced by Bill Direen.


The heritage cottage boasts a gallery and hosts book launches,

readings and meetings by arrangement.


The gallery is temporarily closed for renovation. The next exhibition

19th Century Photographs of Otago Gold Miners.
will be viewable virtually.


The 1860s house at 35 Meadow Street, Dunedin has
  a
"Phantom Billstickers" poster-poem out front.

  The wee house is one step down Meadow Street

from the Countdown car park.
